How long do I need for my session?

All sessions are a minimum of 3 hours, but you may need longer depending on how many tracks you're recording. When scheduling, please note that your session will begin and end promptly at the reserved times. Late arrivals will not receive additional time at the end of the session.

Do I need to sign anything before the session?

When you request a session online, we will email you a user agreement to look over and electronically sign. Once completed, and your payment is received, we will schedule your session for your requested date!.

Will 3D Studios edit my podcast recording?

Our studio is focused on a turnkey DIY process where our knowledgeable staff will let you in the studio and show how to use the equipment. At this time, we do not offer editing, producing, or distribution services at this time.

Do I need an audio engineer for my recording session?

For most podcasters, an engineer is not needed. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own.

Can unexperienced podcasters rent the studio?

Absolutely! When you first arrive, staff can show you how to operate the equipment and record your audio. The equipment is user-friendly and ready once you enter the studio. If it is your first time podcasting, we recommend adding an extra hour for your first booking to allow you ample time to learn the equipment and grow comfortable with the new aspects.

What do I need to bring with me for my session?

You should bring your own micro-SD card. This is what you will insert into our sound board during the recording session. At the end of your session, you will take the micro-SD card with you. It is important that you ensure your own backup system as 3D Studios does not make backup copies of any session and is not responsible for any lost data.
